Unfortunately there is no streamlining of services and
information offered by the major carriers, so it’s important
to check Web sites and call for more in depth information
pertaining to your personal travel plans. And the airlines
themselves, are forever updating their own policies.
The Web site Kayak.com. has a chart that details pet fees
and other information such as airline policies for baggage and
meals on board and much more. It’s updated daily (as airline
policies change) and also links directly to the airline pet
pages, which cuts down on time spent surfing the Web. This is
a great place to start your in-depth
research.
